Committed student

The "Committed Student" scheme is governed by the " Committed Student Charter " adopted by the University of Montpellier, which all interested students are invited to read.

The activities eligible for the scheme are listed exhaustively in article L. 611-9 of the Education Code, concerning the validation of skills, and in article L. 611-11, concerning arrangements for the organization and running of studies and examinations.

To validate the skills, knowledge and aptitudes acquired in the course of these activities, the student must submit a reasoned request , accompanied by the necessary supporting documents and a document in which the student specifies and describes his or her activity (responsibilities, missions entrusted, skills acquired, etc.). The same activities may be validated only once per academic cycle.

For any adjustments to the organization and progress of studies, the student concerned must submit a request to the school office, together with supporting documents specific to his or her situation, before :

• September 15, 2023, for an arrangement covering the first semester or the full academic year;
• December 15, 2023, for a development covering the 2nd half of the year.
  Developments concern only those measures strictly necessary to reconcile studies and commitments.
