The Bachelor of Laws is a three-year generalist program designed primarily to provide students with a solid foundation of legal knowledge and skills, while allowing for specialization beginning in the third year through “track” courses followed by “elective” courses in either private law or public law. The program prepares students either for a professional Master’s degree or for immediate entry into the legal profession.

The Bachelor of Laws degree can be offered as a “General Bachelor’s Degree with a Health Access Track” (L.A.S.). A “health minor” then replaces certain courses in the Bachelor of Laws program to allow students to either enter the second year of health studies in an MMOP track (Medicine, Midwifery, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) or continue their legal studies.
