Rencontre ciné droit: "Pupille" (Pupil)
This event is over!

Synopsis: Because adoption is more than just the parents' journey, and because the child remains the common thread to which we must always refer, Pupille, directed by Jeanne Herry, puts the spotlight on the adopter, but above all on the adopted child.
Théo, born after a birth under X, is plunged into the intricacies of the administrative procedures involved in the adoption process, until he meets Alice, a single woman struggling to adopt.
Pupille is also an ode to the child, who must be cared for from birth to adoption. A child who must be loved and encouraged, whether by the child welfare authorities, his foster family or his adoptive family.
