A comedy about a civil law issue! That’s what Pierre Tchernia offers us in *Le viager*, whose screenplay—co-written by Goscinny—draws heavily on the latter’s brand of humor.
A doctor who thinks he knows it all (Michel Galabru from Montpellier), a frail patient whose only asset is a house by the sea (the irresistible Michel Serrault), a good deal that turns into a nightmare over the years—the ingredients for a good, irreverent comedy are all here, brought to life by a stellar cast of great actors.
A must-see for lawyers!
